Asbestos Survey

Currently there are around 4,500 deaths a year in the UK from asbestos-related diseases. This figure is predicted to grow to 10,500 by 2025. 

In accordance with Regulation 10 of the control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2012, and the supporting ACoP and guidance L143, if you have responsibility for the maintenance and repair of your premises (the duty holder) you have a number of legal responsibilities.

Passing on relevant information about asbestos-containing material to anyone who is likely to work on it or disturb it
